Spring Term 2020.

Welcome to a New Year and a new decade!

Our Topic this term is Journeys, and we will be taking ours through the human body!

We will be learning about healthy eating and food, before enjoying a visit from Warburtons before half term who will be helping the children make healthy sandwiches.

We will learn about how the body works on the inside and outside, looking at organs, the skeleton and exercise.

We will take a Winter Walk through Saint Fagan's in the coming weeks, and will hopefully be able to return to a less muddy Ty Nant Woods to welcome in the Spring before we finish for Easter.

10th February 2020. We paid a visit to Saint Fagans for our Winter Walk, and we also went to McDonalds as a goodbye treat to Maisie Edwards. We will miss you Maisie, Good Luck back in Treorchy Primary!

We Are Very Busy in SLC2!!

Saint Fagan's - 10th September 2019. We enjoyed looking around the castle and two Tudor farmhouses, as well as watching some children try on Tudor costumes. Maisie and Oliver look very smart!

Habitats. We enjoy learning about the outdoors. We explored the grounds on Friday 21st June to look at all the plants and mini beasts. We worked with children from Mr Jones's and Mrs Greig's class.

International Week 10th-14th June. U.S.A. The children dressed up in USA colours or costume, and we made Strawberry Shortcake. Delicious!

Outdoor Classroom Day - Thursday 23rd May. We built Teepees and sang around the 'campfire'!

We were very lucky to take part in a trip to Southerndown with Mr Jones's class. We had great fun in the rockpools!

Our Shadows - Look at what happens to our shadows as the sun moves across the sky. What time do you think each picture was taken?
