A Busy Term Ahead - We are looking forward to welcoming Swift call boxes to the school after Easter. We will be collecting Easter packaging as usual so please keep hold of all your packaging, including foil and send it in to us after the break. Happy Easter everyone!We are getting together with Gardening Club to improve our Raised Bed Area - Any ideas about what we can do?
Follow the link to Dosbarth Holly who made animals using recyclable materials as a Half Term project alongside Dosbarth Birch and Elder. We used the sculpures of Welsh artist JK Brown as an inspiration.

RCT Uniform Weigh In Competition. We welcomed Alisha once again from RCT who came to weigh our uniform donations to be recycled or reloved. REMEMBER we have rails in school for uniform and coats if you would like to come and browse.
New Eco Council Members 2023-2024 Looking forward to another busy year of Eco Actions.
Time To Celebrate! We have received our Third Eco Green Flag today! Julie from Keep Wales Tidy paid us a visit following the application which went in in early June. We have had a successful three years promoting eco schools. Well Done Everyone!! Our new flag will be displayed ASAP.
The children have worked hard making posters to promote our Eco Code - small steps make a BIG difference. Some have been chosen as part of our Third Green Flag Eco Application!
Easter waste Weigh-In. Thank you to everyone who sent in their Easter Egg waste. We noticed far less plastic waste this year, the big chocolate labels care about the environment. Did you know it can take 1000 years + for plastic to break down, compared to just a few months for cardboard, which is also much more easily recyclable too.
PLEASE return ALL your Easter Egg packaging to school after the Easter break - boxes, plastic and foil. Ask all your family and friends!
Book Fair - Re-love a book! Our book table set up alongside the Book fair was a great success!
