Family Liaison and ELSA

Hello, my name is Mrs Hunt and I am the school’s Family Liaison Officer and ELSA.

I provide support to parents, children and families to help with any issues that you may have in relation to supporting your children, both at home and in school. I work to encourage parental involvement within school, signpost to agencies (where appropriate) and support children with their wellbeing in school.

Should you have a personal concern or school-related issue, then I am here to offer support. I also have access to a number of agencies who may be able to provide assistance to you and your family if needed.

I work impartially and confidentially in a non-judgemental manner, providing an understanding ‘listening ear’ if you ever need advice or support.

Life is not always straightforward!

GWEN PET THERAPY

I am very please to introduce you to Gwen, the school’s new Therapy Dog, from Cariad Pet Therapy. 

Gwen has started working for us every other Wednesday and provides emotional health and wellbeing support for the children.  Studies carried out have proven that pet therapy can have amazing mental health benefits such as reducing stress, anxiety and even depression. We have already received very positive feedback about Gwen, she is already loved and would like to welcome her to the school.
