Gold RSPB Award in sight for Dosbarth Maple! The fabulous children and teachers have been busy working towards their Gold Award this year after achieving Silver last year. They invited us to see their display showing some of their activities and to see their new compost bin. We now have a new job to make sure that the Juniors fruit waste will also be added every day in future.Good Luck for the Award Dosbarth Maple!
From Christmas Cards to Easter Waste, which was collected this week and weighed with the help of Dosbarth Holly. Our Battery Recycling Competition has also finished, we really hope to win a prize for for these, we collected two bins full!

Biodiversity / School Grounds - We have set up a camera to keep an eye on Piglet just in case he com,es out of hibernation. Something is eating his food in the cold weather!
Uniform Weigh - RCT came to weigh all our donated uniform and we can include our rails of re-loved uniform too. Let's hope we can win a prize this year!
Global Citizenship - Dosbarth Holly helped Beddau Food Angels to collect all the Harvest Donations. Diolch Pawb!

A Busy Term Ahead - We are looking forward to welcoming Swift call boxes to the school after Easter. We will be collecting Easter packaging as usual so please keep hold of all your packaging, including foil and send it in to us after the break. Happy Easter everyone!We are getting together with Gardening Club to improve our Raised Bed Area - Any ideas about what we can do?
Follow the link to Dosbarth Holly who made animals using recyclable materials as a Half Term project alongside Dosbarth Birch and Elder. We used the sculpures of Welsh artist JK Brown as an inspiration.

Book Fair - Re-love a book! Our book table set up alongside the Book fair was a great success!
