SAFEGUARDING

At Llwyncrwn Primary School we take safeguarding seriously.Effective safeguarding practice is crucial and if practice is robust, it will not only support and protect our pupils but will also safeguard staff, visitors and the wider community. If pupils feel safe they will be ready to engage in learning and in all aspects of school life. We work together to ensure that every member of the community is safe, and therefore able to thrive in a nurturing environment where barriers to learning and engagement are removed.

Our pastoral care reaches the highest standard. All of our pupils have staff offering information, advice and guidance throughout their time with us. This is complemented by a dedicated safeguarding team, ELSA Practitioner, a Family Engagement Officer (FEO) and our continued work with external agencies.

We believe in educating our pupils and community members in the best ways to keep safe and work tirelessly to ensure that our provision is current, robust and supportive.
