Welcome to Dosbarth Hazel (Year 3&4 Miss Hughes).

Useful Info:

P.E. - Tuesday

Please bring or wear appropriate sports kit to school on a Tuesday for PE lessons with Miss Jeffrey. The lessons will be outside when weather permits, so please ensure your child is wearing trainers.

Home Reading

Pupils are encouraged to take reading books home daily to read to a parent or guardian. Regular reading improves vocabulary and language skills and helps to improve concentration, fluency and accuracy. It also teaches children about the world around them. Please take a few minutes to listen to your child read as often as you can. It really will make a difference. heart

Castles and Kingdoms.

Hey there young adventurer!

Have you ever dreamed of being a brave knight, a clever king / queen, or a daring dragon slayer? Then get ready, because you're about to step into the magical world of castles - where history meets adventure!

Castles aren't just big, old buildings - they were the super strong homes of kings and queens, filled with secret passages, tall towers and maybe even a dragon or two!

You'll discover why castles were built, how people defended them and what life was like inside for the people who lived there.

Who was wicked William the Conqueror who led the Normans to build hundreds of Motte and Bailey castles? What was the Norman conquest of 1066? Get ready to investigate, explore and imagine.

Let the castle adventure begin!
